ABOUT CHANTEL
Doula. Coach. Mother.
Here's exactly who walks
with you.
Chantel Kismet is a childbirth educator, doula, parent & women’s coach, somatic therapist who is trauma and nervous system aware. She is also a highly sensitive mother raising a neurodivergent child.
Her approach brings together birth, nervous system regulation, attachment, parenting, somatic work and lived experience to support families through the messy, meaningful transitions of becoming.

THIS IS PERSONAL, NOT JUST PROFESSIONAL
A traumatic birth and severe postpartum depression became the beginning of Blooming Births.
During the birth of her daughter, Chantel found herself being pushed towards a Caesarean she did not feel was right for her. At the eleventh hour, she changed doctors and went on to birth her daughter safely vaginally.
But getting the birth she had hoped for did not mean everything was okay afterwards. Severe postpartum depression followed. Her relationship was tested.
Motherhood changed everything she thought she knew about herself and she had to begin figuring out who she was underneath the role of mother.

BEYOND THE TRAINING
"I know what it is to feel overwhelmed, to lose myself in motherhood, to navigate burnout, and to parent a child whose brain and nervous system experience the world differently."
WHAT HER OWN HEALING HAS MEANT FACING:
Through that work, she has come to understand how deeply our past can shape the way we mother, relate and care for ourselves.
