Vaginal Steaming
Vaginal Steaming
Vaginal Steaming, also known as yoni steaming, v-steams, womb steaming, is a holistic treatment combining gentle steam together with herbs to the vaginal space. This ancient practice is deeply rooted to African, Korean, Chinese, Central American and South American traditions.
It aids in cleansing the uterus, detoxifying and releasing toxins, strengthening reproductive organs, regulating menstrual cycles and supporting fertility. It brings healing and connection to our womb space and restores our feminine energy.
We combine vaginal steaming with relaxation techniques to help a woman relax

How is it done?
Vaginal Steaming is done by sitting above a bowl of warm, steaming herbs which allows the medicinal benefits of the herbs to nurture your vulva, vagina, reproductive system and pelvic region. This can provide deep relaxation, healing, and prevention of health challenges.
How often and how long should I steam for?
The frequency and duration of a steam depends on your health, requirements and menstrual cycle.
As a general rule, steam sessions can be once a week, three days in a row prior to your cycle and three days after menstruation, or with the moon cycles. If you do not have a cycle, steam once a week.
It is recommended to keep warm during a steam and stay well hydrated (during and after!)

Who should not steam?
Women with an IUD
Women who are pregnant
Women who are menstruating
Women who has open herpes sores or blisters present
Women who are trying to conceive (no steaming during ovulation to the next cycle)
Women who has an active internal infection (cervical, uterine or ovarian inflammation) with an active fever
